Playing With The Photo Booth

Camden & Cooper have discovered the photo booth "app" on Dad's old Mac. So far they've only taken one shot of Cooper's butt (which we will leave unpublished).

Raise Your Hand

Kindergarteners must raise their hands when they see their parents so the teachers will dismiss them. Here Cooper, exhausted after a long week of full day Kindergarten, raises his hand when he sees Mom and Dad.

Camden's room as designed by Alison. Lots of color and quite a few ugly dolls.

"Doo Doo Only"

Could this become an annual tradition? Photo of Camden and Cooper next to the Doo Doo Only bin outside one of the cow barns at the Puyallup Fair. They agreed to pose for this picture but only if I would let them see what was inside.
Our parking and entry fees were taken care of by The Fair because I helped judge the Ghiradelli Chocolate recipe contest. Talk about your no-win situation. I'm sure a bunch of chefs are upset by the results. But not as upset as my stomach.

Bedtime Book

Camden and I are reading Flush by Carl Hiaasen. It's about a brother and sister who team up to save the ocean from a casino boat operator who is flushing waste overboard.

First Day of School

We walked Camden and Cooper to their first day of school, 2010. Camden will be 8 next month. She starts Second Grade with Mrs Sterbick. Cooper turned 5 in May. He starts Kindergarten with Mrs Hansen. He already had 6 friends from his days at North Tacoma Montessori. Both love their teachers and both say they love school.

Camden Appears on "New Day Northwest"

She helped Margaret Larson make alternative butter sandwiches for a segment with PCC and then did a dance to show off her sparkling tennis shoes. This link will work for a while.
