California Adventure

After watching Soarin' Over California in seats that flew along with the helicopter...

we boarded the Grizzly River Run. Mom did not want to get wet.

But as it turned out...

Mom was the only one who really got soaked. Sweatshirts next door were $50 so she dried off naturally.

We headed to the Hollywood Pictures backlot for a drawing lesson, rode See Monsters, saw the Muppets in 3D and took a few pictures.

The animation building had a cool zoetrope exhibit.

One ride we DID not go on: California Screamin'.

Cooper Camden and Mom rode a much smaller rollercoaster called Goofy's Sky School. (Dad was too big) It was still too much for Coop.

Camden and Dad like Ferris Wheels. But Mickey's Fun Wheel had cars that rocked.

And rolled

And rocked again until we both felt nauseous

Not truth in advertising.

We left California Adventure and went back to Disneyland where we visited the Tiki Room.

We rode some favorite rides for a second ( or third time)
Cooper and Dad went on Star Tours.

And all of us went on the Peter Pan ride.

Somehow Camden and Dad got up the nerve to ride the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at night.

This ride takes your picture just before it drops you. Camden loved it. Dad appreciated the shot of adrenaline but didn't like plummeting.

Camden ranks her rides:
#1 Tower of Terror #2 Big Thunder #3 Indiana Jones #4 Pirates of the Caribbean.

We finished up our Disneyland trip by watching The World of Color.
